Sympo currently has an opening for a Business Analyst/ Project Manager. Sympo Business Analysts/ Project Managers are respected technologists responsible for providing industry and technical expertise to support Sympo’s client acquisition and expansion. This includes:
- Pre-sales consulting and industry insight on how our solutions can help our clients meet their business objectives
- Demonstrations of offerings, architecture presentations, and ROI models
- Delivering RFPs and Proof of Concepts (POCs)
- In-depth technical requirements gathering and detailed project management while leading a technical team
The Business Analyst/ Project Manager interacts with clients to execute the technical aspects of the sales strategy by developing appropriate solutions and building relationships. They help qualify and quantify opportunities, develop detailed requirements and artifacts, and use product management best practices to create and groom the feature backlog.
During project implementation, they will be the lead project manager and point of contact for their accounts and will provide our development team with the oversight needed to successfully deliver challenging projects within scope and budget.
What you'll bring:
- Use industry best practices to capture and document client needs, requirements, and changes of scope throughout the software development lifecycle, including pre-sales discoveries
- Provide sales support on key opportunities either directly or as management support
- Support the management and prioritization of resources to support sales cycle
- Lead solution design, showing clients proof and insights into the “better way”
- Continually develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Customer Experience market, industry drivers and how Sympo’s professional services provide clients with a competitive advantage in the market
- Lead Sympo Solution implementations that fulfill technical and business requirements
What you'll do:
- Knowledge and experience in the Customer Experience, Customer Engagement, Customer Journey, low code market sector
- Strong presentation skills, with the ability to engage with audiences both in small and large groups, at all levels of an organization
- Ability to probe the client, understand customer business drivers and requirements, and help shape their thinking (e.g., new ways to solve business problems)
- Strong technical capability, including understanding and ability to consult on software architecture, integration etc.
- Ability to quickly adapt to handle a wide variety of sales and technical situations
- Excellent interpersonal and team collaboration skills
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment
- Desire to understand and interface with new technologies and business concepts
- Experience working with complex customer-facing opportunities or related projects
- Formal Project, Product, or Program Management Experience including, formal certifications or similar experience leading Software Development Products to release
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Detail-oriented, analytical and inquisitive
- Ability to work independently and with others
- Extremely organized with strong time-management skills
- Ability to set framework for requirements gathering, testing and change management
- Ability to clearly define, document, and manage, Business Requirements and acceptance criteria
- Manage all documentation and training
- Maintain user confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential
- Ability to formulate a testing strategy, draft test scenarios, cases, and execute against a detailed testing strategy (including test data requirements)
- Manage complex projects concurrently
- Ability to see intersections and interdependencies between projects and processes to identify areas of opportunity for Sympo to further add value across a client’s business landscape and clearly articulate Sympo’s value to key client stakeholders (account growth)
- A passion to always be learning and self-educating as it relates to current, best practices and emerging trends in Project Management, Business Analysis and the low-code platforms that we support
- Ability to establish credibility with executives, business decision-makers, and technical influencers
