Sympo currently has an opening for a Software Engineer with experience and knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Django, HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, React, and AWS. Sympo Software Engineers are respected technologists responsible for providing industry and technical expertise to support Sympo’s client acquisition and expansion.

This includes:

• Developing scripts
• Interacting with API’s
• Building web forms

The Software Engineer position requires a demonstrable level of organization and productivity. Candidates must have the ability to work unsupervised effectively and efficiently, lead client-facing project activities that include analyzing client business needs, and design and build custom database applications in SaaS platforms such as Quickbase.

• Lead Sympo solution implementations that fulfil technical and business requirements
  
  
• Evaluate and analyze client requirements to provide development estimates and identify obstacles/ development constraints.
  
  
• Use industry best practices to capture and document client needs, requirements, and changes of scope throughout the software development lifecycle.
  
  
• Develop software solutions by evaluating client requirements, conferring with users, and studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes.
  
  
• Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
  
  
• Prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
  
  
• Develop Apps in low code SaaS Application Development platforms such as Quickbase.
  
  
• Leadership in technical design including a combination of functionality and technical vision between usability, performance, and budget options.
  
  
• Utilization of prebuilt classes and/or SDKs to enhance build speed and consistency.
  
  
• Add enhancements as necessary to reusable internal libraries and classes.
  
  
• Project management and ability to drive software technology best practices.
